Palatial kingdom of Galle

After taking much time covering areas near Kandy and south Sri Lanka, we were left with only one day for Galle. Though I felt regretful because Galle is surely the most unusual & relaxing place and calls for more time.

It hardly took us half an hour from Hikkaduwa to reach Galle. Without wasting any time, we headed towards the Galle fort. We took a pleasant stroll along the fort walls completely the entire circuit. The view of the vast ocean, the fort and people from diversified culture is worth watching.

Galle has some lovely international, Asian & fusion eating joints. Once my leisure walk through the fort was over, I hurried myself to the nearest restaurant visible – Serendipity(I found its mention on lonely planet). Tried few prawn items & juices, liked it!!
